Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026
Pilot notice. Warqa is currently in an early pilot phase, operated by an individual developer. The service is provided free of charge during this period. Terms may evolve as Warqa matures — significant changes will be communicated to registered users.

1. Agreement

By creating an account on Warqa (warqa.pro) or using any of its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Warqa is

Warqa is a compliance and operations tracking tool for UAE small and medium businesses. It helps you track renewal deadlines, manage employee records, run payroll cycles, log site labour, and maintain VAT invoice records. Warqa does not replace your accountant, your PRO service, or professional legal or tax advice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information at signup and keep it updated
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised
  • Not share your login credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Not use Warqa for any purpose that is illegal or violates UAE law

4. Data you enter

You retain full ownership of any data you enter into Warqa, including business information, employee records, invoices, and attachments. By using Warqa, you grant us permission to store, process, and display this data for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter. Do not upload data that:

  • You do not have the right to share
  • Contains personal information of individuals who have not consented to processing
  • Is subject to non-disclosure obligations you cannot honor by sharing it with a third-party service

5. Compliance calculations and reminders

Warqa provides tools for tracking VAT amounts, payroll totals, WPS deadlines, fine projections, and renewal dates. These calculations and reminders are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying all figures, deadlines, and filings with the relevant authorities and your accountant or advisor.

Warqa does not guarantee that:

  • All applicable compliance requirements are surfaced
  • OCR-extracted invoice data is accurate
  • Fine projections match actual fines assessed by authorities
  • Reminders will always be delivered on time

You should treat Warqa as an assistant, not an authoritative source. When in doubt, consult your accountant or the relevant government portal directly.

6. Availability

Warqa is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, third-party service outages (AWS, Anthropic, government portals), and unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

7. Third-party services

Warqa uses third-party services to provide core functionality:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) for file storage and document OCR
  • Anthropic for AI-assisted invoice extraction
  • Railway (or equivalent hosting) for running the application
  • Sentry for error tracking

These providers may process your data as part of delivering their services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Pricing

Warqa is currently free during the pilot phase. Paid plans will be introduced in the future. Existing users will be notified in advance of any pricing changes, and you will have the option to continue on a free tier, upgrade, or export your data before any charges apply.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at the email below. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. In the event of termination, you may request an export of your data before deletion.

10. Data deletion

Upon written request, we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law (for example, transaction records for audit purposes).

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Warqa, its operator, and its service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to lost revenue, fines assessed by government authorities, or errors in compliance filings prepared using Warqa outputs.

Warqa's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, during the pilot period, is zero).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Warqa evolves. Significant changes will be communicated by email to your registered address. Continued use of Warqa after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the emirate in which Warqa's operator is based.
